Harpist Anna Maria Mendieta Performs from St. Paul's in Walnut Creek

Presented by St. Paul's Concert Series, Walnut Creek

We are excited to present Harpist Anna Maria Mendieta in a solo harp performance from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, August 29 at 7pm. This live performance will be broadcast online.

Anna Maria Mendieta is the principal harpist with the Sacramento Philharmonic; she has performed as a soloist and as a featured artist with many symphony orchestras and chamber music groups across the country. Anna Maria has recently been nominated for a Grammy award, and is currently preparing for new recording publications. With many albums to her credit, Anna Maria has appeared in movies, on television, radio, the Emmy Awards, and has performed for Presidents Clinton, Gorbachev, and the King and Queen of Spain. She was honored to play for the Catholic World Youth Day events in Madrid, and at the Vatican for a special concert for Pope Benedict XVI.

During intermission and after the performance, Anna Maria will dialog with our audience through comments submitted from the online chat.

This performance is being broadcast online; our in-person performances at St. Paul's have been postponed until it is safe to congregate again.
