Symphony San Jose presents "Let The Trumpet Sound" as its 20th Anniversary Season-Opening Program

Renowned on six continents, Norwegian soloist Tine Thing Helseth performs Tomasi’s formidable Trumpet Concerto for Symphony San Jose's season-opening program.

For the 20th Anniversary concert season, Symphony San Jose will feature acclaimed solo artists chosen for their virtuosity and their singular magic on their instrument. Renowned on six continents, Norwegian soloist Tine Thing Helseth opens the season with Tomasi’s formidable Trumpet Concerto performed with her signature lyricism and warmth.

Saturday, October 1 at 8:00pm and Sunday, October 2 at 2:30pm

This will mark the first appearances at Symphony San Jose for the talented soloist and the first appearance for conductor Andrés Cárdenas.

 

Subscriptions for the season are also available for packages of 4 and 8 programs.  The full season runs from October 2022 through June 2023.

Four-program packages range from $204 to $420.

Eight-program packages range from $360 to $736
