Countertenor Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen stars as Julius Caesar along with local soprano Shawnette Sulker in Handel's Julius Caesar. Soprano Renée Rapier leads Paul Dukas' rarely performed Arianne & Bluebeard. Nail Gaiman's beloved story Coraline is now an opera, and West Edge Opera present's the American Premiere of Mark Anthony Turnage's Coraline starring mezzo soprano Kendra Broom. Enjoy opera for the first time, or the 100th time in downtown Oakland this July and August.
