Yes, SFCV Fans, We Have Expanded

Michael Zwiebach on February 27, 2018

Longtime readers of SFCV may have noticed that SFCV has increased the scope of its coverage this year. We have added more coverage of Los Angeles (and will be adding to that) with longtime L.A. journalists Jim Farber and Richard Ginell. And we’ve expanded our coverage of the Bay Area jazz scene with Andrew Gilbert joining in, as well as longtime SFCV jazz enthusiast Jeff Kaliss. We hope to keep that initiative growing as well. And, if you’ve missed them, regular CD reviews will be returning to SFCV in the next month or so.

In order to help you locate all these articles, we’ve added some important menus at the top of our homepage, which we hope you’ve noticed. You can now go straight to L.A. coverage in the top menu bar, and access Andrew’s jazz reporting or Janice Berman’s dance reporting from tabs just above the find events box. And we’ve collected all our opera articles in an Opera archive that you can access from the tab next to ballet and jazz. We hope that these changes make it easier for you to navigate our site.

If you’re here for the local scene, fear not, we’re expanding our journalism there as well. Although this may mean a few late nights for your faithful editors, it means more choices of what to follow for our readers, and more information about the music scene at your fingertips. Enjoy: your contributions helped make all of this possible.
