Northern California Music & Art Culture Center Chamber Music

Northern California Music & Art Culture Center (NCMACC) is a community based music and art organization dedicated to preserving and inheriting cultural values through the development and creation of artistic talents and skills. NCMACC instills cultural awareness in youth and promotes artistic expression and cultural exchange among diverse communities through music, singing, dancing, art instruction and performance opportunities.

The class operates in a professional, friendly, and fun environment with individualized approach to each student and input from both the conductor and players. Focus is on the essentials of ensemble playing, such as rhythm, pitch, sight-reading, group dynamics, blending with others, and polished performances. The musical arrangements for intermediate string orchestra expose the players to a variety of styles. Baroque, romantic, classical, pop and even twentieth century arrangements are read, rehearsed and performed with public performance opportunities available every semester.
