Christina Lesicko

Musically artistic and passionate, I'm originally from NE Ohio, and have made my home in San Francisco. I've taught in various settings including: private and group lessons, ensemble coaching, string camps, and classroom teaching. I currently teach private and group classes in San Francisco and Marin. I am a strong advocate for Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences and Differentiated Instruction. I use various approaches and methods to teach my students how to make beautiful music including resources from Bonnie Greene for the youngest beginner and the Suzuki Method, as well as traditional folk and fiddle tunes. Performance settings include The Warren Philharmonic, Youngstown Symphony, and Greenville Symphony, and various ensembles around the Bay Area. I'm also co-founder and violist for Accordia Music SF. I am fluent in Spanish as well, and have enjoyed teaching in immersion settings where I incorporated Spanish/Latin style and folk song.
