Sharmila Guha

Sharmila G. Lash is a multifaceted vocalist well-versed in a variety of musical styles. She frequently performs as a soloist and ensemble member in both jazz and classical settings, is a private voice instructor, and works as a studio singer. She is a current member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale and San Francisco-based Volti. Teaching steadily since 2004, Sharmila has taught a wide range of students in a wide range of styles. Her underlying goal in her approach to singing is to help guide students to find their own voice, using techniques that teach them to sing in a health way, while allowing them to express their own musicality. Sharmila splits her time between Los Angeles and Oakland. She is a member of AGMA, SAG-AFTRA, and ASCAP.
