Bay Area Rainbow Symphony

The Bay Area is gearing up for S.F. Pride, the annual GLBT celebration, and the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony is handling the classical contribution. Their concert, on June 20 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, will feature Barber’s Adagio for Strings, Copland’s suite from his opera The Tender Land, Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, and Gershwin’s An American in Paris. If you want a touch of the fabulousness, but are not looking forward to the crowds lining the parade route, this is your event.
