Call for singers: The Old World Carolers holiday season
The Old World Carolers sings for benefits of our choice for an authentic holiday spirit--we may include homeless shelters, environment protection, medical emergency help for the needy, or other causes. Each year we have a theme--this year "childhood"--and songs that touch on the theme. Candidates for this year's repertoire include Nu ar det Jul igen (Sweden), Dormi, dormi (Italy), All My Heart This Night Rejoices and Past Three a Clock (England), and Ihr Kinderlein, kommet (Germany). We always add a few standards for singalongs.
