The Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco is a world-class choral organization for girls and young women ages 4-18, which empowers them to achieve artistic and personal excellence.
YWCP offers four choir levels—Prelude Chorus, Allegro Chorus, Vivo Chorus and the Young Women’s Chorus.
Auditions for girls between the ages of 7 and up for the San Francisco Girls Chorus School are held each May and June in San Francisco and Berkeley. The Chorus School has two rehearsal locations to choose: San Francisco and Berkeley. (SFGC also offers a Preparatory Chorus for younger singers ages 4-7. No audition or previous music experience is required to participate in the Preparatory Chorus.)

Auditions will be held on Saturday January 14 for the spring semester. Allegro chorus meets on Wednesdays and Sundays from 4-6 pm and is focused on creating an exciting and interactive community. Here young girls learn more advanced vocal techniques, sight-reading, music theory, and performance skills through the Kodály teaching method.

San Francisco Opera Guild, a non-profit organization that has provided arts education programs to Northern California communities for over 75 years, seeks an experienced Teaching Artist for its Sing A Story program. Sing a Story takes place in classrooms at schools across the Bay Area.
Theater on Wheels is having a show on Saturday December 13 at 1:00pm at Rabbit Hole Theater (http://www.therabbitholesf.com) in SF. It will be the premiere, and more shows may follow in the Bay Area.

Small-group auditions for Silicon Valley Boychoir will be held Thursday, August 21 by appointment between 3:30-5:30 pm in downtown Palo Alto at 600 Homer Ave. Auditions are open to boys ages 7-12.
The Young Women’s Chorus of San Francisco is YWCP’s premiere performing ensemble and is comprised of singers who exhibit excellent vocal technique and musicianship skills.
