We have lessons in classical music, popular music, and jazz. Our teachers are all university or conservatory trained musicians. Opus 1 Music Studio - Group Classes

Opus 1 Music Studio is happy to announce our 2015 Group Music Classes in Palo Alto and Mountain View. We offer classes in Piano, Voice, Guitar, and Violin. These classes will inspire young students by developing basic music skills through interactive lessons and musical games! Classes range from 30-45 minutes. Opus 1 teachers are all university or conservatory trained musicians.

Piano Class
(age 4-5 - 30 minutes; age 6-8 - 45 minutes)

Voice Class
(age 4-6 - 30 minutes; age 7-12 - 45 minutes)

Guitar Class
(age 8-11 - 45 minutes)

Christian Laremont

Christian has just recently moved to the Bay Area from Madrid Spain. He has extensive teaching experience working as a music/guitar teacher at prestigious schools like The American School of Madrid (Aravaca, Madrid) and King's College, Madrid (Spain). He has done many solo performances in weddings, art exhibitions and corporate functions.

Michael Goldberg

Michael Goldberg has extensive experience teaching both classical and jazz guitar. He currently teaches at U.C. Berkeley and U.C. Davis, and maintains a private teaching practice in Berkeley. Mr. Goldberg has recorded on the Arabesque and Kameleon labels. He has toured throughout the United States as part of the Alma Duo, an ensemble of violin/viola and guitar, and is also a member of the Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, a group devoted to contemporary music performance. Susanne Mentzer

I have been an international opera singer for over 30 years, having spend 20 years at the Metropolitan Opera. My specialty ranges from Mozart and Strauss to chamber music and recitals.
Additionally I taught 6 years at Shepherd School Rice University, and 6 years at DePaul University. I also was on faculty at Aspen Music Festival and School for 5 years. I give master classes around the country and have guest taught at the Sf Opera Merola program and Castleton Festival.

Adam Cockerham

Classical guitarist & lutenist, Adam Cockerham, was a finalist in
the Carmel Society Instrumental Competition where his performance was
regarded as being "beautifully and effortlessly executed" by Peninsula
Reviews. He recently performed alongside such guitar luminaries as
Sergio Assad, David Tanenbaum, Marc Teicholz, Lawrence Ferrara, &
Peppindo D'Agustino in the world premiere performance of Assad's
"Wednesdays at Sugar."
