Summer camp

Crowden Center for Music in the Community Chamber Music Workshop

Love chamber music? Develop your skills and knowledge of ensemble playing with other string players and pianists who share your passion during this week-long workshop. The program features daily group coachings, an all-camp ensemble, master classes, and electives such as conducting and sight reading. Chamber group placement is based on a required entrance interview or teacher recommendation; pre-formed groups are encouraged to apply.

Crowden Center for Music in the Community Summer Strings

A comprehensive musical experience for beginning- to intermediate-level violin, viola, and cello players! Participants in this two-week program play in chamber ensembles or beginning group classes, receive weekly private lessons, and enjoy a variety of activities including an all-camp string ensemble and all-camp chorus, outdoor play, arts & crafts, and music games. Special Wednesday schedules include afternoon recreational field trips each week. Students are placed into either a chamber ensemble or group class based on a required entrance interview.

Crowden Center for Music in the Community Scrape, Squawk and Bang: Instrumental Discovery

A wonderful way to introduce your child to one of the most popular beginning instruments: violin, cello, piano, fife, or recorder. Kids explore a chosen instrument in small group classes during this week-long camp, and also enjoy a range of fun musical activities including an all-camp chorus, rhythm and movement classes, and hands-on opportunities to discover a variety of other orchestral instruments.

Paul Green School of Rock Bootcamp

We are proud to offer the Bay Areas most fun, hands on, Rock and Roll Summer Camps. We specialize in helping musicians ages 8-18 realize their full potential in music and in life. Our week long Rock and Roll Boot-Camps are a glimpse in to what we do at the School of Rock year round. Of course, as with everything we do here, our camps culminate with a real Rock and Roll show put on by our Boot-Campers.
