It's that time: early in the year SFCV advised our readers that the Ensemble Parallèle performance of Philip Glass' Orphée was going to be a highlight of the year. That is still true, so if you haven't bought your tickets yet, it is time to do it.
Indisputably one of Glass' greatest theater works in an adventurous production from the company that scored a huge triumph last year with Wozzeck, an excellent cast: No wonder every critic and opera lover I've talked to over the last six months has had this date circled and starred.
The only reason to miss it would be partisanship (some people still hate Philip Glass).
