The annual Crowden School Community Music Day on Oct. 19 opens the entire campus to performances, instrument petting zoos, class demos, instrument making, and a big sale on sheet music, instruments, and musical curios.

In an organizational namedropping bonanza, Crowden is featuring more arts organizations than ever before joining the big party. In addition to Crowden groups and Very First Concerts with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, this year's lineup includes San Francisco Girls Chorus and San Domenico Virtuoso Program — both with Crowden connections. Here's the schedule:

10 a.m.: Duo Camaraderie (Crowden faculty ensemble)
10:40 a.m.: Very First Concerts with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra
11:20 a.m.: Very First Concerts with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra
Noon: Very First Concerts with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra
12:40 p.m.: San Domenico Virtuoso Program Ensemble
1 p.m.: Crowden Suzuki Program
1:30 p.m.: Crowden School chamber ensembles
2 p.m.: San Francisco Girls Chorus
