Voices of Silicon Valley, a community choral group is inviting prospective singers to join us for our 3rd season. We’ll be working on 3 exciting programs this year:
1. The Many Faces Of Love
songs and arrangements from different periods, classical and pop: Billy Joel and Victoria, Girl from Ipanema and J.S.Bach
2. Missa Luba
a beloved arrangement of traditional Mass text infused with African rhythms and tunes
3. Stimmung by Karl-Heinz Stockhausen: a seminal work of 20th century avant-garde, stunningly beautiful yet rarely performed
We rehearse on Wednesdays from 7 to 9:30 at downtown San Jose First UMC:

Auditions will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday August 31 and at 6pm on Sept. 7.

About VOSV: Voices of Silicon Valley is a new San Jose chamber vocal ensemble. One of our primary goals is to combine vocal singing with video technology, thus presenting traditional choral works in a new light, as well as encourage composers to create new works for this unusual combination.
