A New choral initiative in Silicon Valley
Silicon Valley Voices, a new chamber chorus is inviting
singers to audition for its inaugural season.
We’re looking for experienced singers who wish to
challenge themselves with both traditional and innovative
choral music. We have two main artistic goals: 1) to find
new ways of performing traditional choral music by combining
it with visual and multimedia technology as to find
connection with modern audiences 2) to introduce new works
and commissions as to give a voice to contemporary composers
especially in Bay area.
Our first season will include works by Palestrina, Bach,
Poulenc, Messiaen, Billings, Vaughan Williams and a new
composition.
We rehearse every Wednesday 7-9:30pm. Rehearsals start
Wednesday September 3d in Saratoga at Villa Montalvo at
14930 Montalvo Road, a house at the corner of Hill Ave. and
Montalvo Road.
