San Francisco-based Resound Ensemble is holding auditions for all voice parts on Wednesday, August 23rd from 7pm to 9pm.
We are a 40- to 50-voice ensemble that is committed to an eclectic choral repertoire. We present a wide range of styles of choral music each season, from 15th century pieces to new works, accompanied and a cappella, based around a unifying theme. We value community and enjoy many musical and non-musical activities together throughout each season.
We also value the health and safety of our singers and staff. All singers are required to be up-to-date on Covid vaccinations, including boosters, if eligible. In addition, our rehearsal spaces are optimized for maximum social distancing and air exchange. In light of the pandemic officially ending, masks in rehearsal and in concerts are optional, as is Covid testing. We continue to monitor health guidelines and take precautions as needed.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights from 7pm to 9:30pm, in a large space just off of 24th Street in Noe Valley, easily accessible by BART and MUNI. Free parking within a two-block radius is also surprisingly easy.
Our fall concert dates, all evenings: Friday November 10th, Saturday November 11th, and Monday November 13th

Experienced choral singers preferred, though people with prior vocal experience of any type are welcome to audition. Skills needed: music literacy, sight-reading, tonal memory, etc.
