Church Pianist - once a month
This mellow and encouraging church is looking for an intermediate/advanced pianist to play 7 pieces during the service once a month:
- prelude & postlude (pianist choice)
- 3 hymns - chosen by church leader, played with congregational singing. Hymn selections provided the Friday before the service.
- 2 solo accompaniments (for solo & offertory) - chosen by soloist, in collaboration with the pianist
Service is 10-11 am Sunday mornings. Come around 9:20 to rehearse with soloist.
Generally live music has been provided the 2nd Sunday, but this is very flexible based on availability of pianist & soloist.
Payment to be negotiated based on experience; minimum $100/service

Youthful pianists looking to gain experience encouraged to apply. There will be an audition at the church with a hymn (pdf to be provided) & a piece of your choice that could be used for a prelude or postlude.
