Adam Cockerham

Classical guitarist & lutenist, Adam Cockerham, was a finalist in
the Carmel Society Instrumental Competition where his performance was
regarded as being "beautifully and effortlessly executed" by Peninsula
Reviews. He recently performed alongside such guitar luminaries as
Sergio Assad, David Tanenbaum, Marc Teicholz, Lawrence Ferrara, &
Peppindo D'Agustino in the world premiere performance of Assad's
"Wednesdays at Sugar."

Cockerham received his B.M. from SFCM in 2011,
having studied guitar with David Tanenbaum & Lawrence Ferrara,
& theorbo, renaissance lute, archlute, & baroque guitar with
Richard Savino. He received the title of Presser Scholar at SFCM during
his senior year. The Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award is selected by
the school's faculty and granted to one outstanding music major each
year at accredited music schools around the country. He is currently a
candidate for an M.M. at SFCM where he studies guitar with Sergio Assad
& period instruments with Richard Savino.
