Devon Thrumston

Devon Thrumston is an active member of the Bay Area music community, with a particular emphasis in contemporary music. She has played with a variety of ensembles, ranging from classical chamber music to Argentine tango orchestras, to jazz quintets.

Focused on creating a fun and supportive environment, Devon connects with students through finding their unique joy in music, and building their self-esteem as budding musicians. She provides a diverse musical environment for her students, grounded in theory and technique, that incorporates the huge variety of musical pieces for the cello.
