Sharmila G. Lash has recorded and performed with some of the top classical and jazz musicians and ensembles in California, including the Los Angeles Master Chorale since 2006. As a session musician, she has sung on several film soundtracks for 20th Century Fox, Columbia Pictures, Lionsgate, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, and Warner Bros. Pictures.
Teaching steadily since 2004, Sharmila has taught a wide range of students in a wide range of styles. Her underlying goal in her approach to singing is to help guide students to find their individual sound, using techniques that teach them to sing in a healthy way, while allowing them to express their own musicality. She is a proud member of AGMA, SAG-AFTRA, and ASCAP.
