Originally from Frankfurt, Soprano Antonia Tamer now makes her home in San Francisco where she recently completed a Masters in voice at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Catherine Cook.
Among numerous Opera scenes she has had the pleasure of performing some full roles, among them are 2nd Lady (The Magic Flute), Tiny (Paul Bunyan) and Lauretta (Gianni Schicci). Most recently she performed the role of Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) in a student run production at SFCM.
Antonia is also an active competitor, in recent years having placed first in the Ohio NATS competition and second place in the Barry Alexander International voice competition. She has been successfully involved in numerous Summer programs including Rising Star, La Musica Lirica, the Franco American Voice Academy, Songfest in Malibu and most recently AIMS in Graz.
