After the most enthusiastic response to Claude Bolling’s Suites in the past two seasons we are delighted to present his next Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio. Pianist Jeffrey LaDeur, bassist Daniel Smith and percussionist Mckenzie Camp join Alexandra Hawley in a “three-peat of Bolling,” this time featuring his 2nd Suite. David Tanenbaum and Paul Hersh perform in the first half of the program in Tres Retratos by Jaime Zenamon and Winter Impressions by Sergio Assad. Miguel del Aguila’s thrilling Malambo for flute, bass and piano rounds out the program.
