Palo Alto Philharmonic “Russian Remarks”

Solomon Ge, age 16, is a pianist and composer from San Jose, CA. He is a High School Junior and currently studies piano with Prof. Yoshikazu Nagai at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Solomon was one of the winners of last year's Palo Alto Philharmonic Concerto Competition where he played one movement of the Prokofiev 3rd Piano Concerto. He was invited back this season to play the full concerto.
Lee Actor, Assistant Conductor and Composer in Residence of the Philharmonic, will conduct the concert which includes his own "Opening Remarks", a work commissioned by the Saratoga Symphony in 2009.
