Join Prometheus Symphony Orchestra for our first concert of 2020! We're delighted to feature local flutist Maya Stock, winner of our Young Artist Concerto Competition, who will perform the challenging and unusual Flute Concerto by Carl Nielsen. Also on the program is the colorful Symphony No. 5 by Jean Sibelius, inspired by the calls of swans. Pre-performance talk at 2:40 p.m.
Admission is FREE and registration/RSVPs are appreciated but not required. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to ensure your spot. Donations are gratefully accepted, with a $20 suggested donation per person.
Families and children are always welcome; wheelchair accessible. Concessions available at intermission. Come make an afternoon of it!
