Thoughtful, timely and full of freshly recorded programs, San Francisco Performances' Front Row Premium online platform (membership is free with email sign-up) will be kicked off by composer/pianist Timo Andres. The Front Row Premium series, is a free series of four premium handcrafted performances recorded specifically for release on the SFP's “Front Row” online platform available at sfperformances.org. Timo's first program is a tribute to Philip Glass and Franz Schubert, both of whom share a January 31 birthday. It was that connection that initially prompted Timo to create a program of their works. His second program (to be released on Feb 25) includes pieces by John Adams, Robert Schumann, Clara Schumann, Duke Ellington, François Couperin, Alvin Singleton, Poulenc and Sir Roland Hanna.
