Berkeley Baroque Strings Presents Italian Runaways

The Berkeley Baroque Strings opens its new season highlighting members of the orchestra in works by Handel, Dall'Abaco, Valentini, and Geminiani. The orchestra welcomes back guest artist William Skeen to perform “Cello Concerto in G Major” by Nicola Antonio Porpora.

Under the music direction of Kati Kyme, frequent leader of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and member of the New Esterhazy Quartet and Agave Baroque, the chamber orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

The concert takes place at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, 2837 Claremont Blvd., Berkeley.
