Milonga La Bruja: Live tango music with Tangazo

Three musicians: bandoneon player, bass player, pianist, all men, at night

Tangazo, the dynamite tango trio made up of Sascha Jacobsen (bass), Seth Asarnow (piano), and Adrian Jost (bandoneon), takes the stage for the first time at La Bruja. The group plays a selection of classic tangos for listening and dancing.  This is a milonga (tango social dance).

$25 general admission (cash only)
$15 students with ID (cash only)
Masks required.

Featuring DJ Jonas Aquino! Recorded music begins at 7:00 pm; live sets begin at 7:45 and 9:15 pm.   Event ends at 10:00 pm.

This is a queer-friendly event where all genders are welcome to lead and follow.

Drinks (full bar) and empanadas are offered for sale (cards are accepted for refreshments). All ages welcome.

To enter the building, ring the bell and say “tango!” We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, enter through the service entrance at left, and then go straight to reach the back courtyard.
