One of the Czech Republic’s most compelling ensembles, the Bennewitz Quartet is in demand at such venues as Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Theatre des Champs- Elysees, Herkulessaal Munich, Rudolfium Prague, the Berlin Konzerthaus, Vienna’s Musikverein, and Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie. They are particularly known for their clear, heartfelt phrasing which “solves” so many intricate compositions and makes immediate sense of them. This will be their SF debut.
