The Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus opens it's 2019-2020 season with Beethoven's Ode to Joy, the great and powerful Symphony No. 9. The performance will bring choruses from both sides of the Bay together with full orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Urs Leonhardt Steiner. The program also features the world premiere Symphony No. 1 by local Bay Area composer Richard Aldag and Hector Berlioz's Roman Carnival Overture.
