JAZZ WEEK AT THE LARK celebrates this uniquely American art form in collaboration with the Bay Area’s renowned music venue SFJAZZ. 

A weeklong event that includes exceptional documentary films about the lives and times of jazz greats, a live stream event from SFJAZZ featuring legendary vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater and pianist Bill Charlap, and performances by local High School jazz ensembles.

Jazz Week culminates with the Live from the Met in HD broadcast of a new jazz opera, Champion by jazz trumpeter & composer, Terrence Blanchard.

The Lark offers a broad range of cultural programming in a friendly and intimate setting. Among this array of options are: Live From The Met in HD opera series, Britain’s National Theatre Live, Bolshoi Ballet in Cinemas live from Russia, Art and Architecture in Cinemas, and the On Stage at the Lark series featuring a stellar roster of nationally recognized live comedy acts, jazz and classical music.

Annually the Lark partners with the Mill Valley Film Festival to present world premieres and special events as part of the Festival’s program roster. The Lark also serves as a venue for civic fundraisers for local schools and other nonprofit organizations.
