Left Coast Chamber Ensemble’s 2020 Gala goes virtual.
LCCE Artist Advisor, the celebrated composer and violist Kurt Rohde, will host an evening of hand-selected concert excerpts showcasing favorite performances, compositions, and commissions.
The Gala will be streamed live on www.youtube.com/leftcoast and includes music from Claude Debussy, Chris Castro, Jennifer Jolley, and Kurt Rohde, with special appearances from composer Anthony R. Green and LCCE flutist Stacey Pelinka.
All donations made during the Gala will directly fund player pay, many of whose primary income is from performance, and toward renewing LCCE’s thriving education program, Music From the Inside Out, for another school year at Oakland School for the Arts and the San Francisco Community Music Center.
In lieu of a live auction or fund-a-need, there will be some special thank-you gifts for donations made during the Gala, including the always-popular Left Coast to Go, and the brand new Sheltering Serenade.
