Lyricist and librettist Alan Jay Lerner and composer Frederick Loewe's partnership spanned three decades and created on-stage hits including "My Fair Lady," "Brigadoon," "Paint Your Wagon" and "Camelot" along with the musical film "Gigi."
"My Fair Lady" won six of 10 nominated Tony Awards. The movie version won eight Academy Awards, including best picture. "Gigi" won nine Academy Awards. "Camelot" received five Academy Award nominations and won three.
