Second Sunday Organ Recital

Join us for the November program of our Second Sunday Basilica Recital Series, featuring young organist, EDWARD LEE, performing works of Bach, Buxtehude, Franck, Gigout and others.

The performance is free and donations are accepted in support of the Basilica Music Ministries, ($10 suggested)

EDWARD LEE is a senior at Summit Denali High School in Sunnyvale, CA, with interests in math and science, besides music. He has received scholarships from the San Francisco Chapter of the American Guild of Organists in 2021 and 2022. He has participated in masterclasses with Dr. Robert Huw Morgan of Stanford University and with Christa Rakich of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Edward has played for the Junior Bach Festival since 2021 and Oberlin’s Summer Student Concert 2020, SFAGO Halloween concerts and Organ Crawl 2022, PA/Pen AGO Members’ recitals, Pipe Organ Adventure 2022, and the Nahnoom Benefit Concert for Ukraine Crisis Relief in June 2022 as well as his solo recital at St. Mary's Cathedral in August 2022. He has been studying organ music with Angela Kraft Cross for three years.
