Two gifted composers — the emerging TJ Cole and experienced veteran David Evan Thomas — talk with Michael Adams about their craft, their creative process and the muses who inspire them.
The world premiere of TJ Cole’s Playtime for String Sextet commissioned by Music in the Vineyards for our 25th Anniversary will take place at Inglenook on Sunday August 25th at 5 pm.
To Live in This World by David Evan Thomas was commissioned by Music in the Vineyards in 2002 in loving memory of Founding Executive Director, Gail Adams. The featured Soprano, will be Gail’s granddaughter, Tori Tedeschi Adams and will be performed at The Hess Collection on Friday August 23 at 7:30 pm.
Following the talk join Michael Adams and both composers for further discussion over wine and hors d’oeuvres
