Hilda Huang

Presented by Old First Concerts

“Whoever says Hilda Huang must also say Bach” - Leipzig Bach Archive.

Hilda Huang, pianist and harpsichordist, will complete her cycle of Bach’s partitas in the Bay Area with this concert’s performance of the C minor and G major keyboard partitas. Her lively and grounded playing earned first prize at the Leipzig International Bach Competition, making her the first American to achieve this distinction. In preparation for recoding her upcoming debut Bach album, she performs Bach’s toccatas and partitas in the United States on piano and harpsichord. “She has a mind that can multi-task and ears that can ‘multi-listen’” – San Francisco Examiner
