One Found Sound, the San Francisco-based conductorless chamber orchestra, comes together for their first in-person, full orchestra performance in 19 months for Phoenix. Throughout the evening the audience will be immersed in film and light design experiences that are synced to the music and crafted for this performance by filmmaker Max Savage and cinematographer Yuito Kimura. The program features Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate’s Chokfi', which tells the Southeast American Indian legend of the trickster rabbit, Louise Farrenc’s Symphony No. 3 in G Minor Op. 36, and Jessie Montgomery’s 2016 work Records from a Vanishing City, inspired by the music she heard growing up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
