Stanton Street Duo is a harmonica and guitar ensemble based in San Francisco. They specialize in performing Latin American music that represents their own unique cultural backgrounds. Their music consists of both original compositions and arrangements, each piece showcasing this fresh and versatile instrumental combination. Tatiana and Alan met at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music while studying classical guitar performance. The duo formed in 2021, when Alan discovered the chromatic harmonica, the instrument that inspired them to pursue a new musical experience away from western classical music. They recently performed as finalists in NYC at the CAG Elmaleh Competition.
