Redwood Symphony will launch its new 39th season on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 at 8p.m. with Prokofiev’s beloved ballet Romeo and Juliet in a 45-minute suite created by Redwood Symphony Maestro Dr. Eric K. Peninsula pianist, Tamami Honma, makes a long-awaited return appearance in Beethoven’s sublime Piano Concerto No. 4.
Joan Tower’s Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman No.1 will begin the program. Dr. Eric K. will precede the concert with a 7p.m. lecture on the evening’s music.
