Cheryl Ann Fulton | Duple Articulation Harp Secrets!

Presented by The San Francisco Early Music Society

Cheryl Ann Fulton, Course Instructor

Duple Articulation Harp Secrets!

Duple articulation is a must for Baroque performance practice but also has myriad applications for earlier repertory and traditional “Celtic” traditions.  Using the Touch & Tone Method we will look at how to make genuine strong/weak articulation on the harp not just with volume and as a special effect but as an integral part of your harp technique.  We will look at several pieces and how using duple articulations brings them to life!

This class is for all harpists and for professional early music singers and instrumentalists who are amateur harpists and want to improve their harp technique.   Triple and double harps especially welcome but also suitable for single row harps.
