Explore the four-part harmony, learning the contrapuntal functions of the Renaissance Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. A great introduction to singing over ground bass patterns. With tips on how to optimize recording yourself to sing with others remotely.

Rachelle Romero will introduce us to singing and playing the music of the Serafino Razzi’s Libro primo delle laudi spirituali, a great source of both sacred and secular song. In addition to introducing the contrapuntal functions of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass, this session will offer a few tips on recording yourself to accompaniment for purposes of recording with remote friends and colleagues.
