For those who wish to play percussion and don’t have a drum, you can use a cardboard box, pot, pan, or wastebasket (preferably empty). All levels welcome.
We will play lively and percussion-friendly music from 14th century Italy and France. We’ll start with an introduction to percussion instruments used in that repertoire and explore how to create accompaniments that enhance and enliven the monophonic pieces.
