Vicki’s class will focus on encouraging students to recognize and practice typical sequential patterns and melodic bits in various keys that can literally be ‘cut and pasted’ and applied to many sonatas from the Baroque era. We will look at sonatas by Telemann, Handel and Barsanti. Alto and bass recorders will be used for this class, but the techniques will apply to any recorder size.
