The San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band’s annual “Spotlight” gala show returns to San Francisco at the fabulously refurbished Grand Theater on Mission Street.
The show features the music that brings animated film, anime, and video games to life. Artists like Joe Hisaishi, Koji Kondo, Howard Ashman, Yoko Shimomura, and many more are finally receiving their long overdue recognition. Enjoy selections from Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros. Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast.
The “Official Band of San Francisco” is led by Artistic Director Pete Nowlen. “Spotlight” co-emcees will be “Queen of the Castro” Donna Sachet and the multi-talented Leanne Borghesi.
There will be a no-host bar plus live and silent auctions.
