Get ready for a new adventurous online series called Front Row PIVOT on San Francisco Performances' free digital space. Their annual PIVOT Festival, on-going since 2016, has always been about pushing musical borders. The online version digs deep into that realm starting with George Hinchliffe’s Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain with their set list of 14 songs called "Ukulele Lockdown" featuring original arrangements of works by Tom Waits, Kate Bush, David Bowie and Georg Frideric Handel, among many others.
The orchestra has recorded the program in their inimitable tongue-in-cheek style and the program will remain online and available for an undetermined amount of time.
