Impossible to categorize but a must to be witnessed, David Krakauer will be joined by Stephen Prutsman and Michelle Djokic for a program of Brahms, Arvo Part and original Klezmer inspired compositions!

“The genre-fluid clarinet genius David Krakauer” - NPR .Widely considered one of the greatest clarinetists on the planet, David has been praised internationally as a key innovator in modern klezmer as well as a major voice in classical music. SandBox founder and cellist Michelle Djokic friendship with David began years ago when they first met while students at the Juilliard School of Music in NY.  They have colaborated on numerous projects. This much anticipated musical reunion includes the multi faceted, and sought after pianist/composer Stephen Prutsman, who has been described as one of the most innovative musicians of his time. Moving easily from classical to jazz to world music styles as a pianist and composer, Prutsman continues to explore and seek common ground and relationships in the music of all cultures and languages. These three performers are poised to deliver an evening of unexpected and revelatory musical experiences.
