“Into the Woods”
Enjoy a FREE orchestra concert of classical music with exciting rhythms and beautiful melodies! During this concert, you will experience a variety of musical melodies, rhythms, tempos, and instrumental sounds depicting a composer's interpretation of Forest music. All 4 pieces in this “Into the Woods” concert program were composed in the Romantic Period of music. They present sensations and impressions that you may sense while in the woods or forests. This special orchestra concert features a Dvořák lyrical character piece, “Silent Woods”, with talented and acclaimed Sarah Ziegler as violoncello soloist. Conductor Dr. Jason Klein talks to the audience about each program piece before it is performed. This adds understanding and pleasure to the concert.
