Join us for Sonic Harvest 23 Sunday evening, October 1st, 7:30 at Berkeley Piano Club! Ann Callaway will present her complete set of songs titled Char on the lyric poetry of Kurahara Shinjiro. Allen Shearer offers two premieres: Plenitudes, settings for soprano, flute, viola and guitar of poems of Jane Hirshfield, and Strange Gifts for baritone and piano. Peter Josheff will premiere his Exquisite Corpus: Images from the Past IV for spoken voice and piano, and guest composer Monica Chew will offer repertoire TBA.
Admission is $20 general, $15 students. Berkeley Piano Club, at 2724 Haste Street, Berkeley, is wheelchair accessible.
