While it is true that those high-flying voices winging effortlessly across the vocal heavens command much of the admiration garnered by singers in our particular corner of the vocal world, we, at Opera Cocktales have always had a particular fondness for those deep, dark voices that reach into the fathomless depths of the wayward human soul. I'm speaking of course, of mezzos, contraltos, baritones and those rare denizens of the deep - the Bass.
