written in honor of the African king, Balthazar, with text by Langston Hughes

— Randall Thompson's FROSTIANA: SEVEN COUNTRY SONGS

featuring poetry by Robert Frost set 
as a suite of choral art songs.

The VCS Symphonic and Chamber Choirs will also present selections by American composers Richard Zgodova, Charles Ives, and Abbie Betinis.
